I recommend that general dentists use microscopes as I find great advantages of the magnification when placing restorations as well as placing delicate sutures. My posture has dramatically improved and backaches have subsided as I do not stress my neck looking down.

They were very willing to allow me to try out their mobile model of their microscope. They had it shipped to my location and had a local rep assemble it. After using the microscope, I found it to be comparable to the Zeiss, which I own 4 of, and Global models. Especially with the LED light. They even have an adjustable focal distance that really helps if different people are using the microscope. After deciding on the microscope they allowed me to use the model until the install. I had an issue with the distance from my wall to the patient chair. [They were] able make a new arm which was longer in order to accommodate my space. The install was great with little interruption in my day. They followed up several times to make sure the install was perfect. I will definitely use them again.

eVA Advantages:
The eVA colposcope flattens the learning curve with an ergonomic control cluster, including filter change, fine focus and joystick, all positioned at your fingertips. The EZLift z-axis option allows smooth adjustment of the viewing tube height for an ideal viewing posture.
A 50W super bright LED provides lux outputs comparable to Xenon light, but runs cooler and delivers 60,000 hours of bulb life. Operating with a color temperature comparable to daylight, the system ensures bias-free diagnosis.

With a run time of 60,000 hours of bulb service life, bulb changes and storing spares are no longer a matter of concern. Electronics built directly into the swivel arm make the Prima GN a compact solution.
An Apochromatic Galilean optical system produces sharp contrast and resolution at every step. Proprietary MaxLite™ sputtered coatings promise the highest degree of anti-reflective and anti-scratch properties, yielding artifact free and durable optics. Fine focusing control is provided through a range of long working distance CMOs.
Doctors can use a digital SLR or video camera with the Prima GN, thanks to a wide selection of adapters available through LABOMED's ProLine™. A proprietary iVu G5 camera provides an excellent solution with all-in-one high definition imaging, streaming, and capture options. Real-time streaming can be achieved with a flat panel monitor mounted conveniently to the Prima GN arm.
A durable mobile H-stand is easily transported from one room to the next on robust castor wheels, enabling multi-room use and convenient storage. Alternatively, the system can be mounted directly to an exam chair, on a short column for quick diagnostic work, or in an over-the-shoulder floor mount configuration.
